Får jag bjuda på en skvätt bryggtekniker?

Det finns ju många olika sätt att konsumera kaffe. När kaffekannan till bryggaren gick sönder i helgen var det dags att kolla efter en ny. Den första och självklara tanken var att köpa en ny kanna men efter några sökningar insåg jag att en ny kanna skulle kosta hälften så mycket som en helt ny maskin. Så jag började istället kolla närmare på kaffebryggare och kanske bara en senare version av den jag redan hade. Så jag åkte ner till Elgiganten och elektronikaffärerna i stan för att kolla runt lite. Det visar sig finnas fler val än bara vilken kaffebryggare man vill ha. Valet ligger närmast en ny bryggare men här kommer mina mest intressanta bryggtekniker.

Bodum Pebo

En glasbehållare placeras ovanpå en annan och kaffet läggs i ett filter som placeras mellan de två. Du häller kallt vatten i den undre glasbehållaren och kaffe i den övre. Ställ bryggaren på plattan. När vattnet kokar tar du bort bryggaren. Det vatten som nu stigit upp från den undre kannan till den övre rinnner åter ned i den undre, som även fungerar som serveringskanna.

Mokabryggare


Moka
Skruva isär kannan och fyll vatten upp till ventilen, ej över. Fulldosera filtret med kaffe och packa lite lätt med en sked. Skruva ihop mokabryggaren och ställ på spisen. När bryggaren efter 2-5 minuter börjar fräsa lyfter du av den. Klart.

Pressobryggare
Kanske det godaste kaffet. Värm vatten på spisen och lyft upp kastrullen vid kokpunkten. Om vattnet får koka för länge blir det syrefattigt och ger kaffet mindre smak. Dosera lika många msk/kaffemått som antal koppar. Häll vattnet över kaffet och rör runt med en sked. Vänta 3-4 minuter innan du sätter i pressen och pressar.


Tratt/Chemex 

Att använda tratt med filter är underskattat och ett riktigt bra sätt att brygga kaffe på. Dosera lika många msk/kaffemått som antal koppar. Värm vattnet på spisen och lyft upp kastrullen vid kokpunkten. Om vattnet får koka för länge blir det syrefattigt och ger kaffet mindre smak. Häll vattnet i tratten i omgångar.

Det kommer att bli en ny kaffebryggare i alla fall men innan dess har jag testat trattbrygga och det blir faktiskt väldigt väldigt bra. Hur brygger ni kaffe? Vad är ert favoritsätt? Jag närmar mig något sorts beslut.

Efter mycket läsning om kaffebönor och ha åkt fram och tillbaka många vändor började magen kurra högt. Jag hade hällt i mig många cappuccinos men glömt att äta både frukost och lunch och nu suktade magen efter något annorlunda, matigt, smakrikt. Typ en moussaka eller souvlaki, med en riktigt bra tzatsiki. Matig mat. Fantastin skenade iväg till grekland och jag sökte snabbt upp min närmaste Grekiska bar & grill och hämtade mat till både mig och sambon. Sjukt gott som alltid!
